"Boy, he's really outdone himself now!"

So I think that was another element that I looked forward to every time I came to Vancouver, I would seek out an opportunity to visit the studio on Granville Island and to see what Bill's latest concept was. I would invariably think to myself, “Boy, he's really outdone himself now!" There's no way, you know, he could do something that grandiose, or that extensive. But he would always pull it off. And, you know, I was always in awe of his artistic creativity, and the scope of his mind, and of his work.
