In his own words

Bill Reid
"This culture died so suddenly and so unnaturally"

It's been a strange experience you know, I often wonder what I'm doing here. I'm to all intents and purposes, a white citizen of mid-twentieth century Canada and here I am whittling Sea Wolves and things out of the university. Well I get paid a little bit for it, that's not the reason at all. I think that this culture died so suddenly and so unnaturally, you know, it seems that somebody should do something to ... sort of put a period to it somehow or another, you know.
